Instructions
To prepare the Syrup: Combine all the ingredients in a pan, bring to a simmer, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, take off the stove allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer into a sealable bottle, cap it and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for up to a month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix all the liquids in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through best through muslin, making it fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml of the batch mix into your cocktail shaker containing ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute until cold. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it using a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
